I am reseaching a relative. Pte John Smith 546,who served in the Australian AIF. World War 1. He was in the 34th Battalion A.I.F. No 1 Command Depot at Sutton Veny Wiltshire. England. UK. He Married a Beatrice Maud Blythe from Portland, Dorset, England.UK.

My great Uncle was in the 34th Battalion. His details are:
Wallace Baker
enlisted: 14/12/1915
Wounded in Action at Passchendaele on Oct 12th 1917.
age at time of enlistement: 18 years
Returned to Australia 12/8/1919
Would be interested in anyone who is directly descendant of Wallace.
