I don't know how I missed the previous mention, so was glad you refreshed the item. My grandfather, Pte WR Lane-Collett, was in the 45th so I have a little bit of info. One is a photograph of him in a group at a camp in England.
Trevor Munro and I wrote 'Wellington's Finest' this year, which contained a number of 45th boys. In particular, we included over 12 pages of letters/newspaper articles written by George Brownhillm 2613 45th Btn. They are very well written (he was a journalist) and cover the time at sea and in camp at England. Enjoyed my look at the website - will visit again when I have more time. Graeme
