Alexander Burton VC

One of the 37th men - Thomas Guyatt KIA 4/10/17 was a cousin to Corporal Alexander Burton VC, 7th Battalion KIA 7-9 August 1915. Does anyone have any furthur biographical information about Burton.
Thanks Kate

Kate,
Get hold of the following:

Snellling, S. VCs of the First World War: Gallipoli. Wrens Park, London, 1999.

It's easy to get online

(look at http://dogbert.abebooks.com/abe/BookSearch)

Price varies pretty wildly, but I've seen it as low as $US10.00.

Should also be easy to find in libraries.

Thanks Bryn,
I have Snellings Passchendaele V.C's book but haven't the Gallipoli one yet. Will add it to that ever growing list of wants. I did manage to find most of what I needed about Burton on the net.As he came from a town not to far from where I live will chase it a bit furthur there.
