Little help...

Hello everyone,
I write as a representative of the Belmont Fire Brigade (CFA, Victoria).
We are currently undertaking a research project into our members who served in WWI and creating a memorial on station.
We have obtained photos of two brothers who served, but the family who gave them to us in unsure of which one is which.
One served with the 8th Battalion and later with the 60th Battalion and the other served with the 29th Battalion. Both brothers died in France, one at Fromelles and the other at Flurs.
The only difference in the two photos is one is wearing a traditional slouch hat with what looks like a dark puggaree while the other is wearing a British service type cap.
Happy to send the photo if it helps.
Thanks in advance.
